About our new flavor and Certificate of label approval (COLA)…
When looking for our new flavor profile, a few things influenced our decision: the choice of the United States of America itself as the country we’d produce our liquor in, its special cultural and economic characteristics, as well as the firm grip that images of the Wild West had on our minds. All this led us to the most traditional American ingredient for making liquor: corn!
Corn is the main ingredient in bourbon, the drink that the United States Congress declared a national “distinctive product” in 1964.
When launching our fifth beverage, we took this most American of ingredient and infused it with Grandpa’s Spirit. We now have a high-quality drink imbued with the American spirit: white corn whisky, which also marks the official start of our general production! The TTB approved our new label on June 8th and issued a corresponding COLA.
